Standards Compliance
1. All pages are written according to W3C
web standards. All pages should validate as xhtml 1.0 (transitional) and CSS.
2. All pages should also conform to a minimum of WCAG AA guidelines and be Bobby AA approved.
3. All pages on this site use structured semantic markup to aid navigation. H1 tags are used for main titles, H2
tags and lower for subtitles.
4. The content of this site should still be understandable if you turn off the default style sheet, if you use a custom style sheet, or if your browser cannot read style sheets.
Alternative text for images and video
All images and video are accompanied by an alternative text explanation. Where images are used for decoration null alt tags are used. Images may have an additional explanatory title attribute aimed to enhance the meaning of the image.
Links
Links have been written to ensure they make sense out of context. Where appropriate links are accompanied by explanatory titles.
Tables
Layout of this website is created using CSS. Tables are only used for data presentation. All tables should have a summary and table cells are associated with headers to make them easier to interpret using a screen reader.
Text-size
All text and text-related spacing in this site are based on relative text-sizes (ems). This makes the site compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers. This option is available via the view menu of your browser.
