The results of surveys conducted to determine the marine biodiversity of the waters surrounding the Falkland Islands and beyond, conducted by Discovery Investigations between the 1920s and 1940s

Sampling Methods

All the Discovery reports are to be found at the Biodiversity Heritage Library (http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/bibliography/6168)

Study Extent Waters bounding the Falkland Islands down to South Georgia and Bird Island. Sampling was conducted throughout the year of 1924 and was done on a daily basis.
