Sampling Methods

No Description available

Quality Control Data is collected by volunteers and members of the public. All records are validated and locations plotted. Some locations are estimated from descriptions and the granularity of the observation is variable. Rare species or species outside their range are verified by experts with photographs or specimens. Species within their range and expected habitat are assumed to be correct.

Method step description:

  1. Casual observations and recreational activities e.g rockpooling on the shore, on the sea and underwater.
